An alert was issued from New York State Police for Alfredrick Morrison, Jr., who is wanted for criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, and criminal obstruction of breathing dating back to an incident in 2016. Morrison is wanted by the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks and the town of LaGrange Court.

Police said the warrant for Morrison was issued after he failed to appear in court following his 2016 arrest, which came about after he had a dispute turn physical with a fellow tenant at the LaGrange Motel.

Morrison, 55, was described as a 6-foot-5 bald African American with brown eyes. He weighed approximately 195 pounds at the time of his initial arrest. Anyone with information on Morrison’s whereabouts, or who recognizes him, has been asked to contact New York State Police investigators in Poughkeepsie by calling (845) 677-7300 or emailing CrimeTip@troopers.ny.gov.
